Privacy
Privacy policy.
This policy describes how fortnitespritetracking.com handles information. The tracker is local-first: checklist progress is stored on your device, not in an account on our servers.

Who we are
Fortnite Sprite Tracker (“we”, “the site”) is an unofficial fan website at fortnitespritetracking.com. For privacy questions, use Contact us or email hello@fortnitespritetracking.com.
What we do not collect
- We do not require an account, email, or Epic Games login to use the checklist.
- We do not ask for passwords, 2FA codes, or V-Bucks payment details.
- We do not run a cloud sync of your locker in this version of the site.
Information stored on your device
The site uses your browser’s localStorage (and similar local storage) to remember:
- Owned / Mastered checklist state for seasons you track
- Theme preference (light or dark), if you set it
This data stays on that browser profile until you clear site data, uninstall the browser, or overwrite it with Import JSON. We cannot read your localStorage from our side.
Share links and exported files
Share codes and Export JSON contain checklist bits you choose to copy. If you paste a link in Discord, a wiki, or an email, anyone with the link can see that encoded progress. Treat share URLs like a screenshot of your board.
Information processed when you visit
Like most websites, our host or content delivery network may record technical logs (for example IP address, browser type, requested URL, and time) to operate the site, stop abuse, and debug outages. We do not sell those logs. Retention follows the host’s defaults unless we configure a shorter window.
We use Google Analytics (Google tag G-2VQN0PC7BF) to understand how people use the site — for example page views and general traffic. Google may process your IP address and set cookies or similar identifiers on your device. SeeGoogle’s privacy policy andGoogle Analytics opt-out.
Cookies
The checklist stores progress and theme in localStorage, not an advertising cookie. Google Analytics may set its own cookies when you visit. You can block them in your browser or with Google’s opt-out add-on.
Contact form and email
If you email us or use the contact page, we receive whatever you send (name, address, message). We use that only to reply and to keep a record of the request. Do not include Epic passwords or account recovery codes.
Children
The site is a general-audience fan tool. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child submitted personal data by email, contact us and we will delete that message when we can identify it.
Your choices
- Clear this site’s data in your browser to wipe local progress and theme.
- Use Export JSON before switching devices if you want to keep a backup.
- Stop using share links if you do not want others to load your encoded checklist.
Changes
We may update this policy when the product changes. The date at the top is the latest revision. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
